Mission
We exist to see people far from God discipled into a passionate relationship with Jesus.
Jesus didn’t leave His followers with a suggestion — He left them with a mission. In Matthew 28, He calls us to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach. That mission hasn’t changed. The question is: will we live it?
We all have missions in life. Some are simple — finishing a degree, building a career, raising kids. Others are ambitious — chasing dreams, climbing ladders, or making a name for ourselves. But Jesus gave His followers a mission that outlasts careers, accomplishments, and even our own lives:
“Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19–20 (NLT)
This mission is not for the faint of heart. Following Jesus costs everything — your time, your comfort, your priorities. But it also pays everything — peace, purpose, and eternal life. If God could take a man once filled with demons and turn him into a missionary to ten cities (Mark 5), imagine what He could do through you.
Here’s the challenge: don’t just admire the mission. Live it. Tell your story. Love people radically. Walk so closely with Jesus that you are, as the saying goes, “covered in the dust of your rabbi.”
The world doesn’t need more spectators. It needs disciples who live on mission.
