Underground Jesus: Model

What does it actually look like to follow Jesus, not just on Sundays, but every single day of the week? In this message, we are challenged to move beyond simply consuming Christian content and step into the life of a true apprentice of Jesus. Drawing from Luke 6, where Jesus withdraws to pray through the night before calling his disciples into intentional community and then sending them out to heal and restore, we discover a three-part rhythm that shapes everything: up, in, and out. Up is the practice of carving out real, uninterrupted time with God, not a quick prayer on the commute, but genuine space where we listen and receive direction. In is the call to gather in intentional community, learning the nine practices of Jesus and allowing those rhythms to reshape our daily lives. And out is the natural overflow of all of that, carrying the mission of Jesus into our neighborhoods, workplaces, and relationships. The sobering reality is that knowledge alone does not make a disciple. Even the enemy knows Scripture. What sets a true follower apart is consistent, congruent practice. This message invites us to stop spectating and start participating in something far greater than ourselves.
