Underground Jesus: Mission
What does it truly mean to be on mission? This message digs into that question with honesty and urgency, reminding us that every one of us was born with purpose -- not by accident, but by divine design. Drawing from the story of the demon-possessed man in Mark 5, we are confronted with a striking truth: the people who were most afraid of Jesus were not the outsiders, but the ones who thought they had it all together. The man who had been set free was sent back -- not to a church building, but to his own people -- to share what had been done for him. That is the mission. Not to gather the comfortable, but to reach the forgotten, the overlooked, and the far-off. We are challenged to ask ourselves a simple but penetrating question: who is far from God but close to us? The answer to that question might just be the beginning of the most important work we will ever do.
