You Can Have My Heart
What does it mean to truly give God our whole heart, not just a portion of it? As we step into a season filled with holiday excitement, packed schedules, and growing to-do lists, this message challenges us to examine what is actually sitting on the throne of our hearts. Drawing from Ezekiel 14, we encounter a striking scene: the elders of Israel approaching God for direction while still carrying idols in their hearts. God's response is sobering. He questions whether he should even hear their prayers. This is not ancient history. It is a mirror held up to our own lives. We are often quick to seek God's direction while quietly resisting his dominion. We want him to answer our questions without surrendering control of the outcomes. This message calls us to honest self-examination and reminds us that God is not interested in being added to our collection of affections. He wants it all.
