WEEK 12: Easter for Everyone
April 6-10
DAY 1
Day 1: The Cross Welcomes the Guilty
Reading: Luke 23:39-43
Jesus didn't die surrounded by saints—He died between sinners. This reality should flood our hearts with hope. The criminals beside Jesus weren't cleaned up, reformed, or religious. They were broken, guilty, and condemned. Yet Jesus was right there in the middle of their mess. Your past doesn't disqualify you from God's grace; it's the very reason grace came. Stop waiting to get yourself together before approaching Jesus. He specializes in meeting people exactly where they are. The cross wasn't planted in a temple among the righteous—it stood on a hill among the broken. That's where mercy does its greatest work. Whatever shame you carry today, bring it to the cross. Easter happened for people exactly like you.

DAY 2
Day 2: Proximity Isn't Surrender
Reading: James 2:14-26
Two criminals hung beside Jesus—same proximity, same moment, same Savior, but completely different responses. One mocked; one surrendered. You can sit in church every Sunday, know all the songs, and still not truly surrender to Jesus. Proximity to Jesus is not the same as following Jesus. Faith without transformation is just information. The question isn't whether you're near Jesus, but whether you've surrendered your life to Him. Have you given Him full access to your heart, your habits, your hurts? Being close isn't enough. The thief who was saved didn't just acknowledge Jesus—he humbled himself and asked for mercy. Today, examine your heart. Are you close to Jesus or surrendered to Him? True faith always produces transformation.

DAY 3
Day 3: Immediate Salvation
Reading: 2 Corinthians 6:1-2
"Today you will be with me in paradise." Not tomorrow. Not after you prove yourself. Today. Salvation isn't a waiting period—it's immediate. The moment you genuinely surrender to Jesus, everything changes. You don't earn it through good behavior or wait for benefits to activate. The thief had no time to attend classes, make restitution, or clean up his life. He simply believed and received instant grace. This is the scandalous beauty of the gospel. God doesn't ask you to try harder first. He offers transformation right now. Whatever you're carrying—addiction, shame, regret, brokenness—today is your day of salvation. Don't delay your moment of surrender. The same power that raised Jesus can resurrect your life today.

DAY 4
Day 4: From Death to Life
Reading: Ephesians 2:1-10
Sin doesn't just make you bad; it makes you dead. You can function, move through life, check boxes, but remain spiritually lifeless—like the walking dead. This is humanity's condition without Christ: breathing but not truly alive. But Jesus didn't come to make bad people good; He came to make dead people alive. The same resurrection power that raised Christ from the grave is available to you. You don't have to remain in your tomb of shame, addiction, or emptiness. Early Sunday morning, Jesus conquered death with all power in His hands. That power is still active today. Whatever grave you're sleeping in—depression, hopelessness, destructive patterns—resurrection is available. You're not meant to walk through life as the living dead. Let resurrection power awaken you to abundant life.

DAY 5
Day 5: Your Response Determines Your Eternity
Reading: Romans 10:8-13
Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess. The question isn't if you'll encounter Jesus, but when—and how you'll respond. Two men faced the same cross; one died in rejection, the other in relationship. Same moment, different eternities. Your response to Jesus determines everything. You can't remain neutral. Acknowledging His existence isn't enough; even demons believe. What matters is surrender. Have you confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? This isn't about religion or tradition—it's about relationship. Easter was for everyone, is for everyone, and will be for everyone, but not everyone responds the same way. Today, choose life. Choose surrender. Choose the side of the cross that leads to paradise. Your eternity hangs on this decision.
